Jumbo or Designer 1 hoop

I wanted to make a set of bowls that wouldn't take half a day and a ton of thread  to sew and put together. These use inexpensive craft foam to stiffen them. The foam is enclosed between two layers of fabric. There is only one seam (or 2 in the 5x7)  in the bowl to sew. The oversized bottom creates a doily effect and stabilizes the bowl so it doesn't tip. The bottom also makes a great coaster too.

Only 2 pieces in jumbo and 3 in the 5x7 version. The 5x7 version makes the exact same size finished bowls as the jumbo version.

I think you will find these fun, easy and quick to stitch.
